Customer Review: Messy and hard to clean

i own this product, and it's mediocre. it makes a mess on whatever surface you place it on, and rice always sticks to the bottom of the pot, making it difficult to clean. I was careful to follow the instructions (which are different for brown rice which requires more water), but cooking one cup only it burns the rice, though with 2 or more cups, it doesn't burn.
