I have to review this rice cooker....mainly because it is the first rice cooker I've ever owned and I am just smitten with it! I live in South Louisiana, and for those of you who are familiar with the food down here, you would know that you basically have rice with every meal....gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, etc. So, there's a lot of rice eaten over here!
Well, I am in a "Supper Club" and when my 10 closest friends came over this past weekend for a nice home cooked meal, I used this rice cooker to get a large amount of perfectly cooked rice. I was very impressed by the ease of use, not only the "push a button and it's done" kind of ease, but the clean up was so fast - No rice stuck to the bottom of the pot (and I left the cooker on the WARM feature for about 4 hours after the rice was finished cooking).
I am just so excited about this rice cooker that I'm telling all of my friends about it! It's wonderful, and the "Timer" feature is wonderful also - you can set the cooker to have rice finished in 1 hour increments. And the price is very affordable for this kind of quality. If you are in the market for a rice cooker, look no further!
I have only used this cooker for white, long grained rice. For those looking for information on how this cooker works with other types of rice, I'm afraid I haven't tried it yet, but I'll update once I have!
